Train Valley 2 New Release: Weekly Competitions and New Locomotive Cards Available

January 23, 2026 - The highly anticipated sequel to the hit railway management simulation, Train Valley 2, has officially released, bringing with it a host of new features and challenges for players. The game builds upon the success of the original title, allowing players to construct bigger and more complex railway networks than ever before.

Players can look forward to increasingly difficult challenges from local industries as the Valley expands in scope and complexity. The experience promises to deliver 'more of what you loved about the original and then some,' keeping fans engaged with its vast and intricate gameplay.

Weekly Competitions and Rewards

A key new feature is the 'Let's Play Together' competition held every Friday at 17:30 UTC/GMT. Players compete to achieve the best time on a selected level, with the top 3 winners each receiving a random card. These competitions are linked to the official Discord server, where results are automatically published in the #lets-play-together channel.

A specific level link is provided in the main menu for this week's competition. Additionally, one non-Champion player from the top 10 finishers will be awarded a new Challenger Card.

New Locomotive Cards and Rewards

Players can collect locomotive cards to advance through three tiers. The first tier rewards a set of 8 new cards, the second tier unlocks a set of 12 rare cards, and the final tier contains a set of 12 more rare cards. Completing the third set rewards players with a special prize.

Furthermore, every registered player on the Discord bot has a chance to get a card, with one card awarded for every 10 participants. New locomotive cards from the 'Myths And Rails' and 'Editor's Bulletin' sets, along with the new Challenger Card, have been introduced to the game.
